A new hotel was announced in its upcoming debut at Trojena in Saudi Arabia’s NEOM. Minor Hotels, the hotel owner, operator and investor has announced its expansion to the destination with its luxury brand, Ananatara.
Anantara Resort will feature 270 keys and offer a selection of rooms and suites, including private pools and lake or mountain views.
The resort will also offer an array of dining experiences including two specialty restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant with a show kitchen, a café and a high tea lounge as well as a rooftop majlis café.
Anantara will be home to an array of facilities including the Anantara Spa, hamams, a fitness centre, an infinity pool, a star gazing deck, an outdoor cinema, a kids and teens club and various sports activities such as padel tennis, camel, horse riding and guided walks.
Trojena will be the home to the region’s first outdoor ski resort, staging a host of world-class sporting events, exhibitions, concerts and more. The destination is set to redefine luxury living and will be powered by renewable energy.
The property will be accessible via helicopter with its own helipad and house spaces for meetings and events.
Anantara Resort is situated in the Water Village, within the Valley Cluster in Trojena which will be home to three developments with a fresh-water lake at its heart. The Water Village will feature residential, hospitality and commercial experiences. It will also contain retail and dining opportunities.

Trojena is expected to be ready to welcome visitors by late 2026 and is set to host the Asian Winter Games in 2029. The destination will be accessible via the NEOM International Airport and also be linked to the mega-project’s high-speed rail network.
