The online retail giant has acquired digital streaming rights to broadcast the cricket tournament matches in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The IPL is the most viewed cricket league in the world, with reports that more than 500m people will stream matches on their devices worldwide.

Pricing details and subscription packages have not yet been published, but noon.com says it will stream all matches on its app.

The noon.com streaming will include English commentary, pre-match build-up, post-match analysis and high-quality video.

Noon.com intends to will incorporate adverts into the viewing experience and will allow customers to click and go directly to advertised product pages or brand websites.
