UAE government confirms Ramadan working hours

Federal Authority for Government Human Resources says public sector working hours will be between 9am and 2pm

The UAE government has announced that Ramadan working hours for employees at ministries and federal authorities will be between 9am and 2pm.

State news agency WAM reported that the announcement was made via a circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).

Ramadan is expected to begin around 6 June, subject to the moon being sighted.

Private sector working hours are yet to be announced.
