The UAE is set to welcome 2025 with drone shows and fireworks displays for residents and tourists.

In Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba has planned a record-breaking fireworks display lasting an impressive 53 minutes. The show, highlighting a variety of pyrotechnic designs, will be preceded by a 20-minute drone display featuring 6,000 drones.

Beginning at 11:40 PM, the drone show will include 3,000 drones forming a world-first image and showcasing symbolic New Year aspirations. Fireworks will also light up the skies over iconic locations such as the Corniche, Yas Island, and Al Hudayriyat Island.

Dubai will host more than 45 fireworks displays across 36 locations, including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Expo City, Global Village, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Bluewaters, Al Seef, and Hatta.

Authorities have ensured extensive preparations to deliver a safe celebration for attendees, adhering to the highest safety and security standards.

Sharjah will also ring in 2025 with 25-minute fireworks displays at Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach, organized by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).

Ras Al Khaimah will host a 15-minute display titled “Our Story in the Sky.” Combining fireworks, drones, and laser effects.

With aspirations of setting new Guinness World Records, the celebration promises to be the longest and most elaborate display by Ras Al Khaimah.

Last year, Ras Al Khaimah achieved two Guinness World Records for its New Year’s Eve celebrations, including the Longest Sequence of Floating Fireworks and the Longest Straight-Line Drone Show.
