Government Transaction Centres in Dubai are set to reopen as part of efforts to ease restrictions on movement in the emirate.
The update was announced by Dubai Economic Department in conjunction with the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, and comes with strict conditions.

Employees returning to the centres will work from 9am until 3pm, while the employee count should not exceed 30 percent – centres will continue to provide services to customers remotely.
The centre should not exceed 30 percent of its capacity, while everyone in every facility must adhere to guidelines on sanitisation and social distancing, including wearing masks.
It comes as Dubai begins to relax restrictions across the city. Shopping malls are allowed to open for 10 hours daily and supermarkets, food outlets, grocery stores and pharmacies are allowed to operate round the clock, but mosques will remain shut during the holy month.
Family entertainment facilities and cinemas remain shut while restaurants and hotels can be run only by 30 percent of their staff at a time.
Restaurants and cafes are not permitted to serve shisha or buffet dining and customers must observe social distancing. Hair salons are allowed to reopen, but prior booking must be made and services are restricted to hair and nail services.
Dubai also allowed public transport including metro to resume services from Sunday.
Meanwhile, all Amer visa centres in Dubai also reopened on Sunday, according to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, GDRFA – Dubai.
The centres started receiving customers from 9am to 3pm. Precautions observed include wearing masks and conducting thermal screening on employees and customers.
