UAE Aesthetic chain Cocoona is set for major regional expansion, after opening talks to raise over $30n from new investors.
The group, founded by Dr Sanjay Parashar, is now working on a long-term growth strategy that will see new centres opened in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, and further expansion in the UAE.
“It’s something we have been looking at doing for a while and we feel now have the right expertise to really take this brand to another level. There is huge opportunity and interest in this industry right now, but it’s important we work with the right partners and investors,” Parashar said.

The company’s plans include opening a new aesthetic hospital in Abu Dhabi, a day surgery centre in Dubai and Kuwait, and a day surgery centre and 3 clinics in India.
“We are looking at both acquisition and organic growth. It very much depends on the markets we are entering and what is best suited,” Parashar said.
Dr Parashar started Cocoona in 2009 and has grown it into one of the leading aesthetics brands in UAE, backed by a team of 75 people, including 20 doctors. It currently operates two centres, in 20000+ sq ft space, in Dubai.
