Dubai Airports has opened a new Baggage Service Centre at Dubai International’s (DXB) Terminal 2 to provide a one-stop shop for baggage inquiries and collections, the airport announced on Thursday.
The newly established facility combines ‘Left Luggage’ and ‘Mishandled Baggage’ services together in one location.
Located for easy access, the centre securely connects publicly accessible areas with the secured areas of the terminal, allowing passengers to pick up bags without needing extra screening.
“This improvement enhances safety and reduces waiting times for guests, making the overall airport experience smoother and more efficient,” the airport said, adding that the new launch reflects strong cooperation between Dubai Airports, Dubai Police, Dubai Customs and dnata.
