A flydubai aircraft heading to Dubai from Warsaw was diverted due to a potential security threat, according to several reports.
Flight FZ1830 made an emergency landing after being diverted from Warsaw to Krakow Airport.
The airport was closed for several hours, according to various reports from individuals present at the terminal.
Security checks were conducted and the aircraft was cleared, Krakow Airport resumed operations.
Travel arrangements were made for the flight passengers. Following screening from local authorities, the threat was found to be non-credible.
Earlier this month, Arabian Business reported on a Moscow to Goa flight that made an emergency landing at an airport in the Western Indian state of Gujarat following a bomb threat.
All the 236 passengers and crew members were evacuated safely and the plane is being checked by local authorities along with police and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), PTI reported.
