Global brands and celebrities set to dazzle at Mode Dubai

The UAE’s first consumer-focused fashion week Mode Dubai will feature an impressive line of global lifestyle brands

Ace fashion designers and show directors Kevin Oliver, Ryan Pacioles and Marietta Behnisch, Dubai Bling star Farhana Bodi and an impressive line of global lifestyle brands are to dazzle fashionistas and the die-hard shoppers equally in Dubai in early December in the city’s – also the UAE’s – first-ever consumer fashion week Mode Dubai.

Iconic American women’s clothing brand L Space, popular British jewellery maker for everyday styling Tutti & Co and high-end Danish luxury fashion brand Rosa Faizzad are among the global brands from the fashion and lifestyle world which will be featured on the catwalks.

Australia’s Nookie, Bali’s Flook the Label, Turkey’s Loud is More Good and UAE’s own Kinki Swim are among the other industry-leading names which are set to enthrall fashion lovers at the exclusive shoppable catwalks in Dubai.

Dubai Bling star Farhana Bodi, slated on day one for an exclusive celebrity interview at the event, is set to grace the occasion with her distinct point of view on modern-day fashion influences and the inspiration behind her refined aesthetic.

Diverse brands and celebrities shine

From the latest haute couture by some of the world’s leading designers to sparkling jewellery to chic accessories and everything in between, Mode Dubai will unveil a diverse array of brands, celebrity appearances, and dynamic DJ performances to dazzle attendees on December 1-3, with daily hours from 10 AM to 7 PM at the grand Dubai Festival Arena.

“Definitely, the brands mentioned are just a fraction of the incredible designers and partners we have on board for Mode Dubai. We have lots of surprises coming your way!,” Tommy Lee, Managing Director of Modern Productions, the UAE-based vogue and lifestyle event platform which is organising Mode Dubai, told Arabian Business.

“Attendees can expect these and a host of other unparalleled showcases across the three-day fashion event,” he added.

Lee said fashion is often talked about as exclusive, but the event will be a barrier-breaker.

“Prior to launching this concept, we had noticed this disconnect, yet strong desire to partake. Mode Dubai strives to break those barriers and allow individuals an opportunity to be a part of the world of fashion.”


Lee, who has been touring the fashion capitals of the world in the last 3-4 months to curate the event, hoped that a large turnout of international and local visitors and enthusiastic welcome for the show.

“We are thrilled to be extending a warm welcome to visitors from across the region and international tourists who are travelling to Dubai for the winter to Dubai Festival Arena for all three days.

“We aim to create an immersive and interactive experience that highlights established and emerging brands and fosters a platform for discovery and innovation in the fashion industry,” he said.

Connect with fashion at Mode Dubai

Every day the Mode Dubai extravaganza will open with the first catwalk of each day – representing a ‘Stars of the Show’ edit from the entire event – curated by Lee himself.

This catwalk will be a true representation of what Mode Dubai is really all about, giving brands an opportunity to connect with their audience in a new and dynamic way, as well as give visitors the full fashion week experience, he said.

“You’ve watched Fashion Week from the sidelines for far too long. It’s time to join the inclusive fashion movement and be at the heart of the action.”

Lee promised that from the captivating shoppable runway shows and front-row experience to the incredible beauty lounge that has been curated, and delectable on-site dining options, the organisers are committed to ensuring that every visitor to Mode Dubai has an enjoyable and 360 experience.


Luxury pampering at Beauty Lounge

Guests will be pampered at the lavish Beauty Lounge with expertly curated services, including exquisite blow-dry styling by Kerasilk, flawless manicures by Orly, and impeccable brow touch-ups by RefectoCil – all designed to leave them feeling runway-ready.

Adding to the allure, the event will also feature the infectious beats of world-class DJ Yuki, who will be headlining with six electrifying sets spread across the three-day event.

With an ambiance that blends sophistication and revelry, the event promises an immersive experience that resonates with visitors on every level.
