Dubai real estate: Production City welcomes $68mn Samana Portofino residences

Dubai-based Samana Developers has announced its latest residential project, ‘Samana Portofino,’ in Dubai Production City, valued at AED250 million ($68 million approximately).

This launch marks the ninth of the 12 projects slated for release in 2023 by Samana Developers, reinforcing their rapid growth within the Dubai real estate market.

Spanning an expansive 259,501 square feet and comprising 226 apartments, Samana Portofino is a notable addition to the developer’s portfolio.

The project aims to stand out for its distinctive comune-style Italian architecture, featuring water features, a town lifestyle, and private pools in each apartment — a concept pioneered by Samana Developers in the Dubai residential market.

Moreover, ‘Portofino’ is the first project in Dubai Production City to offer private pools in all of its units.

This area, formerly known as The International Media Production Zone (IMPZ), offers a mix of residential freehold and commercial freezone areas, allowing 100 percent foreign ownership in the residential freehold segment.

“Samana Developers is moving forward with the right speed of developments and in the right areas across Dubai. I thank our investors for their trust in Samana projects which yield better returns for them as compared to current market rates. That is one reason that our projects sell quickly and we move on to the new launch,” Imran Farooq, CEO of Samana Developers said.

Farooq highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing investor returns, including facilitating the subletting of apartments to tourists, with the launch of ‘Samana Holidays.’ He added that Samana property assets offer a competitive 24 percent return.

Samana Portofino apartment prices starts at AED669,000

Samana Portofino offers an attractive payment plan spanning eight years, with apartment prices starting at AED669,000 ($182,144).

The flexible payment structure aims to assist buyers in transitioning from renting to owning a home in Dubai. The project is scheduled for handover in March 2026.

The development also boasts a range of amenities, including a common pool, a kids’ pool, a large leisure pool deck, sports facilities, outdoor leisure spaces, and dedicated areas for various recreational activities.
