Emirates Airline and the Museum of the Future have announced plans to host the first Aviation Future Week in Dubai from October 15-17, 2024.
The event will bring together UAE ministers, senior government officials, and industry leaders from aviation, aerospace, airfreight, Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair (MRO), and logistics sectors.
The three-day programme will focus on the future of passenger journeys, traffic demand, airfreight, logistics, and advancements in AI and XR technologies.
Dubai to host first Aviation Future Week in October 2024
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group said: “It is fitting that Dubai is setting the stage for visionary global leaders and decision makers in aviation and aerospace to gather for key discussions and powerful collaborations to help redefine what the future could look like for the industry at Aviation Future Week.

The event’s first day will address air travel demand, airport infrastructure, and enhancing passenger experience through technology.
Day two will focus on airfreight, logistics, and MRO developments in the region. The final day will explore the potential of Web3, AI, and XR solutions in aviation, discussing strategies to rethink existing processes and upskill the workforce.
Alongside the main programme, Aviation Future Week will feature an exhibition showcasing the latest aviation technologies.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about new products and concepts, and network with industry representatives.
Interactive workshops will be led by Emirates and Museum of The Future, with support from various Emirates Group divisions, Boeing, and the Emirates Group Youth Council.
