Etihad Airways has expanded its fleet with the arrival of its sixth A350 aircraft.
The plane landed this weekend following its delivery flight from Toulouse, France.
The A350 is recognised for its environmental credentials, emitting 25 percent less CO2 than previous generation aircraft and creating a noise footprint that is 50 percent smaller.
With its long-range capabilities, the A350-1000 provides the carrier with increased operational flexibility.
The airline plans to deploy the aircraft on its new Atlanta route this summer, marking the carrier’s sixth destination in North America and one of 16 new routes Etihad will launch this year.
