Etihad Airways reports 14% passenger growth in February 2025

Etihad Airways’ passenger traffic for the first two months of 2025 reached 3.3 million, up from 2.9 million during the same period in 2024

Etihad Airways carried 1.6 million passengers in February 2025, maintaining an average load factor of 89 percent, the airline announced.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier’s passenger traffic for the first two months of 2025 reached 3.3 million, up from 2.9 million during the same period in 2024.

“Our passenger numbers in February saw a strong 14 percent growth compared to the same period last year, as we continue to be among the world’s fastest-growing airlines,” Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways said in a statement on Wednesday.

Neves noted the airline’s expansion plans for 2025, which include launching 14 new routes. “As our capacity continues to grow, it is pleasing to see we maintained our robust passenger load factor of 89 percent year-to-date, as we prepare for a busy 2025,” he said.

The CEO added that Etihad’s fleet is approaching 100 aircraft, with more deliveries scheduled throughout 2025 to support the ongoing expansion.
