The ticket is only valid for this Sunday, January 16.

On the day, visitors can expect to experience a range of one-of-a-kind events, including the Republic of Korea celebrating its National Day with traditional Jang-Gu drums, a Taekwondo martial arts demonstration, and a special K-Pop concert at Jubilee Stage at 1930 GST. The concert will feature several artists including (G)I-dle, Stray Kids, Golden Child, PSY, Forestella and Sunmi.

Later in the evening, DJ Mato Blue will take to the decks on Jubilee Stage at 2200 GST to end the night, bringing a set filled with deep house, funk, disco, progressive house and techno.

Expo 2020 Dubai will also be celebrating Global Goals Week at the time, and host the week’s flagship ‘Global Goals for All’ event, which aims to raise awareness for the UN Sustainable Development Goals programme. The event will celebrate the progress that has been made so far and highlight the role of individuals and communities in fostering further change and sustainability.

Last week, authorities at Expo 2020 Dubai reported that the site had recorded nearly nine million visits in its first three months. Almost half (47 percent) of the 8,958,132 total visits were generated by Expo’s season passes, with the number of repeat visits reaching 3.5 million during the opening three-month period.

“Our latest figures are testament to the determination and hard work of everyone involved in Expo as we pass our halfway mark,” said Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister for International Cooperation and director general of Expo 2020 Dubai at the time.

“And with the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone continuing to be of the highest priority, the numbers also reflect the strength of our ongoing stringent Covid-19 safety measures, which continue to protect visitors, staff and Expo participants alike,” she added.

Last month, organisers of Expo 2020 Dubai warned that some venues might need to close temporarily as the mega event ramped up measures to protect visitors from a jump in coronavirus cases.

Tickets for the site’s AED 10 offer will be available online from Friday, January 14 at 1700 GST on the Expo 2020 Dubai website or at the site’s entrance. Season pass holders will be able to enter as normal without any additional fees.

Visitors will also need to present a negative PCR test result taken within the previous 72 hours if they are unvaccinated, or prove that they are vaccinated against Covid-19. Those who are unvaccinated can receive a free PCR test from some test centres in the UAE using their Expo 2020 Dubai ticket.
