Dubai Internet City will house Intel’s newest Artificial Intelligence R&D centre, the first of its kind in the GCC. This will help advance the capabilities of Intel’s leading AI software solutions.
Intel and the centre will collaborate with the AI, software business and academic ecosystems in Dubai, in alignment with the Middle East’s digital transformation strategy.
“Dubai’s emergence as a global tech hub, where great companies, talent and ideas coexist, has accelerated digital transformation across the region. For more than 20 years, Dubai Internet City has been providing business behind these advancements and innovations with a globally competitive ecosystem to expand their investments and operations,” Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President – Commercial Leasing at TECOM Group PJSC, told Arabian Business.

Intel will relocate AI experts from global offices to bring international tech talent and skills to the region.
