As the city of Dubai continues to grow in sectors including tourism and real estate, several developments are on the rise including numerous new hotels set to open next year.
Here are some of the luxury hospitality developments opening its doors to the public next year including Fairmont, Six Senses, Five and more.
Five Luxe

A popular name in the hospitality industry in Dubai, the FIVE chain of hotels is set to add a new property to its current portfolio – FIVE LUXE is set to open soon (exact dates yet to be revealed).
Located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), this new development will feature 222 rooms, 276 residential apartments, and seven restaurants.
Additionally, guests will have access to an expansive 14,000 sq. ft. beach, a beach club, social pool, and Lío Ibiza dome.
Fairmont Dubai Skyline

Announced by developer, RSG, Fairmont Dubai Skyline will soon be added to the city’s skyline as part of a five-year AED5bn ($1.4 billion) development plan.
The property will feature 181 rooms, 121 residences, and a full floor penthouse suite across 54 floors in a 226-metre-high property.
Guests and residents will have access to a fitness center, spa, infinity pool, golden lounge area and more.
Mama Shelter Dubai

A mixed-use development, hotel, and residences feature apartments, hotel rooms, shops, restaurants and more.
Residents and guests will benefit from access to the infinity pool, recreation areas, gyms and more.
The development will offer studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
87 studios, with sizes ranging from 139 to 150 square meters, available for a starting price of AED967,000 and above.
For those seeking one-bedroom apartments, there are 88 units available, each with an area size varying from 199 to 205 square meters. These apartments start at AED1,484,000.
Two-bedroom apartments, although limited in quantity with 28 units, offer spacious living with sizes ranging from 257 to 276 square meters. The starting price for these two-bedroom apartments is AED2,181,000.
One&Only One Za’abeel

Located above Dubai Happiness Bridge, One&Only One Za’abeel boasts 229 hotel rooms and 90 residential units. Termed as ‘Dubai’s vertical resort’, the development is designed by Nikken Sekkei and will feature two glass towers, united by ‘The Link’.
Guests will benefit from several features and amenities including restaurants and bars, an observation deck, gym, spa, pool, banquet hall, and a rooftop terrace.
‘The Link’ will also feature a pool alongside dining options, leisure options and 360-degree views.
12 dining concepts will be available at the hotel ranging from French, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, and Andalusian cuisines.
Additionally, the development will feature a Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie across three floors tailored programmes and rejuvenating treatments.
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab

Designed through the inspiration of a super yacht, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is set to open its doors soon, located in Jumeirah and overlooking the Burj Al Arab.
The development will feature 386 rooms and suites, four penthouses, and 83 luxury hotel apartment suites, the luxury property will also offer facilities including pools, spa, wellness facilities, restaurants, bars and more.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Dubai Sotheby’s International Realty sold two exclusive penthouses in the prestigious Marsa Al Arab development for a combined total value of AED706 million ($192 million).
Six Senses Residences, The Palm

The Six Senses announced its UAE debut with an ultra-luxury development on The Palm, set to be developed by Select Group partnered with Emirates Strategic Investments Company (ESIC), the expected completion the development is 2024.
Located on 1.2 million square feet on Palm Jumeirah, the property will offer 60 rooms and over 60,000 square feet of amenities including restaurants, bars, gymnasium, squash court, kids club, spa, library and more.
The development will house 121 penthouses, 32 sky villas, and nine signature beachfront villas, managed by Six Senses.
Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower

As part of the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, the development will consist of 64 floors with 229 residential units, and 258 hotel rooms as part of Dubai’s second Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Additionally, the development will feature a rooftop sky bar, two-storey spa and other amenities including a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.
Designed around its Z axis and adopting a classic ‘contrapposto’ movement, the tower is constructed to face almost every direction.
The tower is expected to reach completion by Q2 2024.
