Smiles, the UAE’s everyday rewards SuperApp from e&, has teamed up with Amazon.ae to offer up to six months of Amazon Prime to its members, at a discounted price of 58 per cent.
Smiles customers can use their Smiles points to subscribe to Prime membership directly on the app.
A three-month membership will cost just AED24 on the Smiles app, as against a retail price of AED48, while a six-month membership is available for AED40, compared to retail price at AED96 – a saving of 58 per cent.

Customers can redeem the three-month offer using 3,000 Smiles Points and the six-month offer using 5,000 points. They can also pay via a credit or debit card and earn additional points for the purchase.
At the end of the promotional period, Amazon will automatically bill customers AED16 per month to continue delivering Prime membership benefits.
The collaboration offers UAE customers the best of both worlds, combining Smiles’ innovative rewards ecosystem with the added value of Amazon Prime shopping, convenience, and entertainment benefits.

Last week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, e& announced a partnership between Smiles and China’s Tencent Cloud to enhance digital commerce in the UAE. As part of the agreement, Smiles will leverage Tencent Cloud Super App as a Service (TCSAS) solution to create an open, dynamic digital ecosystem, making it the first in the region to leverage this technology.
