Titan Watches, part of Indian conglomerate Tata Group, is eyeing a massive expansion in the Middle East region, targeting to spread its footprints across the GCC region with a whopping 35 outlets over the next 12 month period.
The $5.7 billion turnover famed Tata Group arm with a customer base of over 200 million in 25 countries is also set to achieve a milestone of successfully expanding its presence across the UAE, with the opening of a new exclusive company outlet in the popular Mall of UAQ in Umm Al Quwain this month.
The proposed expansion in the region will also see Titan extending its product line in the region with launches of a range of fragrances and its stylish Fastrack sunglasses, besides its popular watch collections, including the sought-after Edge brand – two models of which will competing in the 2024 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, considered the Oscars of the watch world.
“Strategic innovation and targeted expansion are pivotal to Titan Watches’ growth in the GCC market,” Gaurav Midha, Business Head, International Business – Watches, Titan Company Ltd, told Arabian Business.
“Our focused plan is designed to enhance our market presence and better serve the evolving demands of our customers,” he said.
Aditya Kejriwal, Marketing Head, Titan International Business, said the company will be embarking on a robust expansion in the region, with the aim of having 35 outlets open across the GCC within the next 12 months.
The company, however, did not disclose its investment plans for the proposed expansion in the region.

Titan’s ambitious GCC expansion plans
Kejriwal said the new round of expansion will be kicked off with two exclusive outlets in Kuwait and one in the UAE in August.
The Titan senior executive said along with the GCC expansion, the company will also further augment its presence in the UAE, with plans to open an outlet at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates next month.
“The company is poised for further growth with ambitious expansion plans, aiming to enhance its presence and bring its exceptional timepieces to a wider audience across the UAE and the GCC,” Kejriwal said.
The company’s move on the ambitious expansion is in line with its aim to cater to the diverse needs of the region.
“The brand’s expansion in the region, including the distinction of being the only watch brand with presence across the 7 Emirates, reflects its commitment to meeting the evolving tastes of discerning watch enthusiasts,” the senior Titan executive said.
He said the expansion also highlights the Tata Group company’s strategic vision to establish a formidable presence in every corner of the UAE.
“By achieving full coverage across all seven Emirates, Titan Watches also cements its position as a frontrunner in the UAE’s horology market, setting a new standard for excellence and accessibility in the industry,” Kejriwal said.

Midha said the company focuses on customising each of its exclusive brand kiosks with tailored product offerings, regionally-inspired collections and multilingual staff to meet the expectations of modern consumers across the GCC.
“By doing so, we uphold our reputation as a leading lifestyle brand,” he said.
The senior company executives also revealed that competing models are also set to be launched as limited editions in 2024 across the region, further enhancing Titan’s legacy in the global watchmaking arena.
Titan currently has 24 brand outlets spread across various emirates in the UAE.
