The UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yair Lapid, during his first official visit to the State of Israel.
During the meeting, the two top diplomats explored the avenues of enhancing bilateral relations and also exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments, including the crisis in Ukraine.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the importance of building on the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement in order to achieve peace in the region, consolidate the pillars of security and stability, and fulfill the aspirations of the region’s people for development and prosperity.
“Consolidating regional and global peace and stability is a primary driver of the UAE’s foreign policy and an integral part of its 10 Principles for the Next 50. The UAE is looking forward to working with its regional and global partners to achieve this goal,” Sheikh Abdullah said.
The UAE top diplomat added that the UAE-Israeli relations are steadily growing and evolving in many sectors, since the signing of Abraham Accords Peace Agreement, adding that the two nations are working together for a prosperous future for their people and the people across the entire region.
The meeting was also attended by the UAE Ambassador to the State of Israel, Mohamed Mahmoud Fateh Ali Abdulla Al Khaja, according to the state-run news agency Wam.

Bahrain – Israel ministerial meeting
The Bahrain Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani also met with Yair Lapid in Negev, during his visit to Israel.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance, develop, and implement a joint action plan, the state-run Bahrain News Agency reported.
They also reviewed relations and the results achieved within the framework of the Declaration Supporting Peace, the Abraham Accords, memoranda of understanding, and the agreements signed between the two countries.
The two diplomats also discussed the latest political and security developments in the Middle East, regional, and international situations and their repercussions on the region’s security and stability.
The Bahraini ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma, and the Israeli ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Naveh, also attended the meeting along with other senior officials from the foreign ministries of the two countries.
