The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has detected 380 false Emiratisation cases till date, with inspection teams actively monitoring suspected cases.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, the authority stated three main actions taken by MoHRE when false Emiratisation is confirmed. These include:
- Lowering the company to Category 3
- Referring the violate company to the Attorney General to take the necessary actions
- Nafis benefits are ceased from those involved in ‘false Emiratisation’
UAE Emiratisation shows ‘outstanding result’ in Q1 2023
In the first quarter of 2023, MoHRE showed that the Emiratisation rate in the private sector has increased by over 11 percent, showing “outstanding result,” compared to 2022.
Business services saw a 10 percent growth in the hiring of Emiratis in the private sector, construction grew by 14 percent, whereas commerce and repair services grew by 13 percent.
In addition, financial brokerage grew by 4 percent and the manufacturing industry grew by 10 percent.
