The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prohibited travel by UAE citizens to the Republic of Mali and has called on those currently in the country to leave and return home as soon as possible.
The advisory follows the continued deterioration of security conditions in Mali, where armed conflict, political instability and repeated militant attacks have heightened risks for residents and visitors.
Several international organisations have also issued warnings about the volatile environment and limited availability of essential services in some regions.
In its statement, the Ministry stressed the importance of complying with all official instructions and warnings and urged citizens to exercise the highest levels of caution.
It also called on UAE nationals currently in Mali to contact the Ministry through its dedicated 24/7 emergency hotline for citizens abroad: +971 800 24.
The Ministry said it will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as necessary.
