Dubai telecom giant du will exhibit innovative solutions of the future for government entities at GITEX 2022. The company will operate under the thematic banner ‘Powering governments, shaping the Emirates reality’ during the four-day event which runs from October 10 to 14.
“We will highlight innovative solutions of the future by acting as a key enabler of digital and virtual revolution to government entities’ digital transformation agenda,” du chief executive officer Fahad Al Hassawi told Arabian Business.
“With the growing digital transformation needs where will people begin relying on virtual spaces and digital modes of communication, du will stand as an integral driver of this movement through Metaverse, IoT, Blockchain, 5G and more,” Al Hassawi added.
Through GITEX 2022, du will continue supporting industries such as finance, education, healthcare and retail in their digital transformation journey by capitalising on new technologies such as the metaverse to develop new customer experiences.
du will also aim to attract various business opportunities in the Web 3.0 space for the UAE as well as the region.

“Our stand will feature interactive exhibits and demos where attendees will be able to enjoy a futuristic technology vision,” Al Hassawi said, adding it will showcase “the realm of digital twin opportunities, AI, IoT, Machine Learning, Metaverse, Web 3.0 and robotics.”
Additionally, du’s Hassawi said the company aims to widen their portfolio of industry partnerships to “spearhead innovation to drive success for stakeholders and partners alike.”
