US-based cybersecurity company Trellix, will debut at GITEX 2022, operating under the thematic banner ‘living security’.
The company, will showcase its extended detection and response (XDR) architecture, which enables organisations “to stay one step ahead of adversaries, adapt to new threats, and accelerate detection and correction,” it said in an emailed statement.
An XDR, collects and instantly correlates data across emails, servers, cloud workload, networks and other multiple security layers.
Doing so, allows faster detection of threats and improved investigation and response times through security analysis for organisations.
“Organisations in the region have come to recognise that as the threat landscape expands and attackers get craftier and more sophisticated, adding more security tools is not the answer,” Trellix UAE’s general manager Vibin Shaju said.
Shaju added: “To the contrary, there is actually a need for fewer vendors, platform consolidation and integrated frameworks with the tools already available. This is where a XDR platform can prove to be immensely valuable.”

Aside from Trellix XDR, the company will also showcase demos on Trellix Endpoint & EDR, Trellix data security and Trellix professional services consulting.
Visitors at the Trellix booth will have the opportunity to understand how the company’s XDR platform is redefining the future of cybersecurity, the statement said, adding businesses can remain resilient with advanced detection, response, and remediation capabilities through artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and automation.
The company is also consolidating the McAfee Enterprise and FireEye teams in the region “to become one of the biggest dedicated cybersecurity providers” by 2023, Shaju said, adding, GITEX 2022 offers a “wonderful opportunity to showcase our unique value proposition for regional businesses.”
