The mobile payment arm of telecommunications company du – du Pay – has formed a partnership with global payments processor Visa, the company said in a statement. The collaboration sees du Pay become a principal member, enabling it to issue Visa cards.
Customers of du Pay will now be able to order both digital and physical prepaid Visa cards directly through the app.
The cards give access to a universally accepted payment method securely.

The integration of Visa’s capabilities intends to let du Pay broaden its financial solutions. It seeks greater alignment with customer lifestyles and adds flexibility to the du Pay platform, the statement said, adding that both companies are committed to empowering communities through accessible financial services.
