National Services and Construction Estate (NSCC) and Al Dhafra Pipeline & Contracting Company (APCC) have won the piling contracts for Meydan’s new horseracing development.
Work is due to begin on May 1 and is scheduled to be completed in six months.
Other contracts to be announced include the Meydan Grandstand main building package, the canal construction package, and other supporting facilities within Meydan Racecourse and Meydan City.
Meydan Racecourse has a target opening for the 2010 Dubai World Cup.
