Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has launched a new investors portal to help investors take informed decisions about establishing private schools in the emirate.
The education authority launched the online initiative as part of Abu Dhabi government;s participation in the 38th GITEX Technology Week.
The electronic platform works as a one-stop-shop for investors, offering a dashboard with pivotal details on private schools such as students travelling in and out from various districts, and a comparison between enrollments versus capacity. Investors may also filter schools by curricula, region or a specific city.
In line with a sustained growth of student enrollments to private schools along with the population growth rates projected over the next few years in Abu Dhabi, private school investors are being offered attractive investments opportunities, a statement said.
ADEK said it also provides extra assistance and support to investors while deciding to set up their new private school premises through allocating a plot or building subject to the availability of land and consistent with demand.
The portal provides a list of available land and buildings with detailed information while potential investors are also offered a step-by-step illustration with regards to licensing and establishing new schools.
Investors can also book a face to face meeting with experts from ADEK’s Business Development Division prior to deciding to invest in a private school.
