Parents in Abu Dhabi can now track their children’s school performance, attendance, and academic progress in real time following the launch of Rayah, a new digital platform introduced by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).
Unveiled during ADEK’s participation at the 45th edition of GITEX Global, Rayah was presented at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion in the presence of senior officials.
The platform is designed to place parents at the centre of their children’s education through a single, integrated and smart gateway that provides access to real-time data, insights, and resources to support learning and development.
Comprehensive digital access
Through Rayah, parents can monitor attendance and grades, receive early alerts on performance changes, compare academic results across schools and regions, and make informed school choices using data such as Irtiqaa outcomes, ADEK policy compliance, and the National Identity Mark.
The platform also enables families to view school calendars, access parenting resources, and explore educational activities, events, and cultural programmes that strengthen collaboration between home and school.
Rayah goes beyond information-sharing by analysing each child’s learning profile to offer tailored recommendations that support academic improvement and balanced development.
By simplifying data into clear, parent-friendly insights, the system helps families make informed decisions and engage more effectively with schools.
ADEK: empowering parents
Marwan Othman, Acting Support Services Sector Executive Director at ADEK, said: “Rayah is built on a simple idea: when parents are informed and empowered, children succeed. We’ve designed a platform that takes the stress out of navigating schools and academic data, and turns it into a supportive, personalised experience for every family.”
Othman said the platform was developed to enhance collaboration between parents and educators and reflects ADEK’s broader commitment to improving educational outcomes through digital innovation.
Abu Dhabi education
The launch of Rayah forms part of ADEK’s wider strategy to enhance digital transformation in the education sector, improving service delivery and fostering greater community engagement.
By providing accurate, real-time insights and user-friendly tools, the platform supports the emirate’s efforts to build a future-ready learning ecosystem that prioritises transparency, accessibility, and student wellbeing.
