Islamic World Educational body to join hands with Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi’s foundation in education, combating child labour

The two bodies have agreed on joint implementation of a set of programmes, projects and practical activities with tangible outcomes

The education wing of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF), set up by the India-based the Nobel prize winner, have agreed to join hands in the areas of education, combating child labour and safeguarding children’s rights.

The two organizations, during a virtual meeting with the US-based arm of KSCF, discussed avenues for closer cooperation.

The two sides discussed the means and mechanisms to foster cooperation between ICESCO and KSCF in order to establish fruitful partnership to achieve their objectives of ensuring the right to education and contributing to achieving comprehensive development.

In this context, the two bodies have agreed on joint implementation of a set of programmes, projects and practical activities with tangible outcomes.
