Five new cases of swine flu have been confirmed by Bahrain’s Ministry of Health.
The Gulf Daily News reported that three Bahrainis and two foreigners arriving back in the kingdom tested positive for the H1N1 virus.
The three locals are a 25-year-old man who arrived from Australia, a 57-year-old woman who came from Haj in Saudi Arabia and a 22-year-old woman who came from Thailand.
The foreigners are a 22-year-old Indonesian woman and a 49-year-old British man, who both travelled from their countries of origin.
The people are now in isolation at the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Health Centre, in Zinj, the paper reported.
