Dubai Municipality has honoured an Asian cleaner for his “honesty, integrity and good behaviour”.
The unnamed cleaner, who works at Averda Environmental Services Company, was recognised after finding a wallet on one of the secondary roads in Al Barsha 3 during the course of his work.
He was praised after immediately returning the wallet back to its owner with all money, bank cards and important documents intact.
The cleaner was presented with a certificate from Abdulmajeed Saifaie, waste management director, Dubai Municipality, in front of a large number of his colleagues.
Saifie called on members of the community to follow his example and stressed that, as a result of people like him, Dubai is “an oasis for safety and stability”.
