A Saudi citizen and an expatriate have been killed and 13 people were injured after a university building in Riyadh collapsed.
The accident happened at an Almaarefa University building in Dareya, on the western outskirts of the Saudi capital, on Tuesday.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed El-Hammadi, spokesman for the Civil Defense of Riyadh region, told Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the search and salvage crew of the Civil Defense rushed to the scene to evacuate the victims, help those around and look for survivors under the debris.
He added that ten of the injured had been discharged from hospital.
The Saudi Red Crescent sent 16 emergency teams to assist with the rescue.
Work is continuing to remove the rubble and make sure nobody is missing.
