The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) has sent a new convoy carrying aid to the people in Gaza Strip, Jordanian News Agency (PETRA) reported on Tuesday.

The relief material was provided by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his wife Princess Haya Al Hussein to help alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinian people.

This humanitarian aid contained blankets, mats and medical aid which reached Amman by a large cargo plane that landed at the Marka Airport on Monday and was dispatched in 15 trucks, said the JHCO.

The aid will be distributed via the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNEWA) in the Strip, the Organisation statement said, adding that more relief flights from the UAE will arrive in the Kingdom in the coming days carrying more aid material for distribution among the distressed in the Gaza Strip.
