Superstar influencer Mo Vlogs has hit back over social media claims that he is under investigation over comments made regarding a UAE financial institution.
Vlogs has been at the centre of online claims that have gone viral, over alleged comments he made in a podcast.
But the star – real name Mohamed Beiraghdary – told Arabian Business: “This is not true, I am not involved in anything like this. Sometimes people use my name without me even knowing about it.”
Vlogs has become one of the region’s most successful influencers, with 11.4 million subscribers to his YouTube channel and 4.5 million followers on Instagram.
He added: “I’ve got nothing to do with any of these scams, am not really sure where this story came from. But I can assure all my fans that there is nothing to this.”
Vlogs moved to London with his sister to attend higher education at Queens Mary University where he launched his first YouTube channel in 2013. After he returned to Dubai, the channel grew more successful and was followed by the launch of his second channel ‘Mo Vlogs’, shining a spotlight on the opulent Dubai lifestyle and supercars.
Some of the videos that quickly propelled him to global stardom include ‘rich kids of Dubai’ and ‘racing my cars in front of Bugatti’, amongst others.
Vlogs made his boxing debut last month in Dubai’s Coca-Cola arena, when he defeated Shero Amara as a part of the Social Knockout 3 exhibition event.
