Emaar founder Mohamed Alabbar has officially launched his new $3.5 billion Ramhan Island project off the coast of Abu Dhabi, with villas priced at less than $1.8 million.

The project is being developed by Alabbar’s Eagle Hills company. According to information released by various brokers, there will be 1,800 standalone villas, 900 marina residences, 120 luxury hotel keys and 120 residence keys. The development will comprise 4 villa communities including Marine Island Villas, Cove Island Villas, Breeze Island Villas and Views Island Villas, surrounded by mangrove trees and scenic bays.

The villas are between 3 – 7 bedrooms, starting from 2862 square feet in size, the smallest villas are listed at $1.743 million.

“It’s a rare thing to live on a natural island, complete with a beach – everything being truly from nature, including dolphins, turtles and birds. This is a quality of life that has never been seen before, and it is what we will be delivering – I have been lucky enough to work on some unique projects over the years, but this is something truly special,” Alabbar told Arabian Business last month.
