Dubai real estate developer Meraas has awarded an AED440m ($120m) contract to GCC Contracting for the development of City Walk Northline, a major new residential expansion within one of Dubai’s most prominent lifestyle destinations.
The project includes three premium residential buildings with a combined 304 apartments scheduled for completion in Q3 2027.
The contract marks a significant step in City Walk’s continued evolution as a flagship urban neighbourhood blending residential, retail and leisure offerings.
City Walk Northline in Dubai
Under the agreement, GCC Contracting will lead construction across the City Walk Northline project. This includes:
- City Walk Northline 1, an eight-floor residence with 114 units ranging from one- to three-bedroom apartments
- City Walk Northline 2, comprising two eight-floor buildings offering a combined 190 one- to three-bedroom units
Meraas said the project represents a major milestone in the expansion of City Walk, known for its blend of contemporary residential living, high-end retail, entertainment and urban design.

City Walk Northline introduces a modern, minimalist architecture inspired by nearby landmarks such as The Green Planet, Central Park and the wider City Walk precinct.
