Dubai real estate sector recorded $4.9bn of transactions last week, including $17m Palm Jumeirah apartment

The Dubai real estate sector saw $4.9bn of transactions and 4,662 sales last week

The Dubai real estate sector recorded AED17.99bn ($4.9bn) of transactions last week, according to data from the Land Department.

Sales transactions dominated the figures, with AED13.52bn ($3.7bn), according to Land Department data.

In total there were 4,662 sales transactions recorded between April 14 and April 18.

Dubai real estate this week

Among the most expensive sales transactions listed on the Land Department website were:

  • An apartment in The Alba Residences in Palm Jumeirah area sold for AED61.3m ($16.7m)
  • An apartment in Address Grand Downtown in Burj Khalifa sold for AED51.6m ($14.1m)
  • An apartment in The Alba Residences in Palm Jumeirah area sold for AED51.6m ($14m)

The Land Department also showed mortgage deals worth AED3.66bn ($996.5m) last week.

Gift transactions in the same period were valued at AED805.4m ($219.3m).
