The Pizza Company UAE, part of Bin Lahej International Restaurants (BIR) has been awarded by the Minor Food Group, one of the largest hospitality and leisure companies in the Asia Pacific region, for the highest year-on-year store growth in 2008.The restaurant attained this position against numerous competing outlets in Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain.
“We are very proud of this accomplishment, which encourages us to strive for such success throughout all our outlets,” commented Mohammed Bin Lahej, Chairman, BIR.
“The Pizza Company has witnessed tremendous demand and has already lead to 18 Pizza Company outlets in the Middle East, with five of them in the UAE alone, and we expect this number to double this year with BIR expanding into several more markets in the near future,” he added.
The award was presented by Paul Kenny, chief executive Officer of the Minor Food Group Mohammed Bin Lahej, chairman, BIR.
