ChatGPT has made its debut on the Apple App store. The artificial intelligence bot is popularly known for its ability to generate human-like content and provide answers on various topics
OpenAI, the Microsoft-supported company responsible for ChatGPT, announced the same on Thursday in response to users’ desire to access the bot while on the go.
This development signifies OpenAI’s continued expansion into the search market, which is currently dominated by Google.
ChatGPT is now available on iOS devices

OpenAI emphasised that the app is available free of charge and offers users a way to obtain precise information without the hassle of sifting through advertisements or multiple search results.
The ChatGPT developer also highlighted the app’s ability to provide guidance on cooking, travel plans, and crafting thoughtful messages.
Initially launching in the United States, OpenAI plans to roll out the app in additional countries in the coming weeks.
While the app is currently exclusive to Apple devices, OpenAI confirmed that an Android version will be released “soon.”
“P.S. Android users, you’re next! ChatGPT will be coming to your devices soon,” the statement said.
ChatGPT is already accessible on smartphones through Microsoft’s Bing search app, which integrates OpenAI technology.
However, with the introduction of ChatGPT on the Apple App store, users now have a dedicated platform for accessing the bot’s features.
