Core42 and AIREV launched their OnDemand AI Operating System (AIOS) in Dubai on Thursday.
This marks a significant milestone in making AI more accessible and integrable for enterprises and developers alike.
The OnDemand AIOS, developed by AIREV and built on Core42’s infrastructure, introduces a decentralised approach to AI deployment. The platform is designed to simplify the process of building, deploying, and managing AI applications for a wide range of users, from individual developers to large enterprises.
“We are excited to see the incredible potential of the OnDemand AIOS realised through this collaboration. Our advanced infrastructure will empower developers and enterprises to harness the full power of AI,” said Muhammed Khalid, CEO of AIREV.
One of the key features of OnDemand is its flexibility in AI model deployment. Users can seamlessly deploy models from popular sources like Hugging Face, as well as their own custom models.
The platform also boasts a vibrant ecosystem with its Plugins and Marketplace, allowing developers to create, deploy, and monetise AI tools.
Core42’s infrastructure, including high-performance GPUs and integration with Cerebras’ Condor Galaxy clusters, ensures the platform’s reliability and scalability.
Users will also have access to a diverse library of predefined models, including the highly performant Arabic Large Language Model, JAIS, and the Azure OpenAI GPT-4 family.
“This groundbreaking platform exemplifies our commitment to driving AI innovation and empowering businesses across the Middle East and beyond. We are enabling developers and enterprises to unlock unprecedented capabilities and accelerate their journey towards a smarter, AI-driven future,” said Talal Alkaissi, Chief Partnerships & Government Affairs Officer at Core42.
While the partnership’s primary focus is on the Middle East, the decentralised nature of OnDemand ensures its global applicability. This aligns well with the UAE’s National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 as it provides companies with a solution to boost AI adoption and economic growth, the firm said in a statement on Thursday.
