Search engine giant Google ushered in 2024 with an animated doodle, urging users to “Take a Leap”, mirroring the start of a leap year.
“3..2..1..It’s time to take a ‘leap’ into the next year. Happy New Year from us to you,” Google captioned the X post on Monday.
The leap year sees an increased number of days – from 365 to 366 – for a calendar year.
The company also posted a doodle on New Year’s Eve on Sunday that featured a lot of confetti.
