Saudi Arabian Airlines has gone live with a new website, which is intended to offer more services and a richer experience to its customers.
The site, which was developed by US web specialist Vignette, has been launched as part of a drive by the Saudi national carrier to enhance services and improve sales.
The new site includes flight information, online booking and payments, check-in and baggage tracking and supporting services like car hire, hotel information and destination weather reports, and is available in English, French and Arabic.
Hazem Sunbul, manager of Sales Development, Saudi Arabian Airlines said: “Saudi Arabian Airlines recognises that the Web as a key tool in the further growth of the company. We chose Vignette as we wanted to secure our online future and are delighted to offer our customers enhanced services and a comprehensive travel experience.”
The site was designed and implemented by Vignette, using its own Vignette Portal and Vignette Content Management (VCM) solutions.
