UAE’s e& (Emirates Telecommunications Group Company) is in early stage of discussions of forming a potential partnership with the Czech Republic-based PPF Group to explore strategic collaboration opportunities in central and southeastern Europe.
PPF Group is an international investment group founded in the Czech Republic in 1991. It invests in a variety of sectors, including banking and financial services, telecommunications, media, and biotechnology among others.
It had assets worth 42 billion euros on December 31, 2021, and accrued profits of 5.5 billion euros between 2012 and 2021.
PPF Group and e& explore collaboration
In a filing at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, e& said the proposed collaboration, which excludes the Czech Republic, will be mutually beneficial to both groups.
PPF Group has operations in 25 additional countries across Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa.
In a statement, the UAE-based technology group added: “Should there be any developments on this subject, we will keep the market updated in due course.”
