Dubai Chambers, flydubai sign agreement to boost global trade for local businesses

Dubai Chambers has established a partnership with flydubai through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that aims to expand global market access for Dubai-based companies through the airline’s air freight services.

The agreement provides Dubai Chamber of Commerce members with preferential air freight rates on flydubai’s cargo network.

This initiative seeks to reduce import and export costs for local businesses while extending their market reach internationally.

Boosting trade with flydubai

Khalid AlJarwan, Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said: “This strategic partnership supports our efforts to empower our members to enter new global markets and grow their businesses. The preferential air freight rates offered serve as an effective tool to reduce export and import costs and enhance operational efficiency, opening up new international market opportunities for local businesses. The collaboration will also focus on developing joint initiatives, programmes, and activities designed to deliver value to Dubai’s business community.

Dubai Chambers continues to focus on its strategic objectives, which include improving the emirate’s business environment, attracting international investment, supporting members’ global expansion, developing the digital economy, enhancing advocacy, and maintaining institutional excellence.

flydubai operates a network spanning more than 130 destinations across 55 countries with a fleet of 88 Boeing 737 aircraft, supporting Dubai’s trade and tourism sectors.
