New Dubai parking fees to begin on April 4

Parkin, the largest operator of paid parking services in Dubai, confirmed the changes and revealed prices and operating hours in a disclosure to the DFM.

The parking operator identified peak times for car parking fees in the city and gave a detailed breakdown of applicable fees, depending on the zone.

The DFM statement, signed by Parkin CEO Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, said: “We would like to disclose to the market that Parkin Company PJSC has received a letter from Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) regarding the decision to introduce variable tariff pricing.”

It went on to say that peak pricing will apply for six out of the 14 chargeable hours per day (8am–10am and 4pm–8pm), excluding Sundays and public holidays.  

Tariffs during off-peak hours (10am–4pm and 8pm–10pm) will remain unchanged, with pricing in line with the existing tariff structure.   

Public parking in Dubai is divided into four distinct zones.

Under premium peak pricing rules parking will be 50 per cent more expensive.
