Dubai Police and Parkin are integrating their systems to share live parking and traffic data across the city — a move set to streamline enforcement, reduce congestion, and strengthen road safety.
The new partnership, signed at GITEX Global 2025, connects Dubai Police’s traffic management network with Parkin PJSC’s smart parking and payment platforms.
The initiative supports Dubai’s goal of achieving full digital integration across public services.
Dubai Police-Parkin partnership
Brigadier Issam Ibrahim Al Awar, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, and Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of senior officers and representatives from both sides.
Brigadier Al Awar said the agreement reflects Dubai Police’s commitment — under the direction of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police — to strengthening cooperation with public and private entities and advancing the emirate’s digital transformation goals.
He explained that the integration will allow both parties to use advanced technologies to manage traffic and parking more efficiently.
Real-time data sharing between the two systems will improve traffic flow, enhance planning, and support better decision-making.
Safer roads, smarter mobility
“This project is a big step forward for road safety in Dubai,” Brigadier Al Awar said. “It will improve monitoring, ensure compliance with traffic laws, and reduce cases of unpaid fines or unlicensed vehicles on the road, all of which contribute to a safer and happier city.”
The system will automatically identify vehicles with outstanding fines or seizure orders as soon as they enter Parkin facilities, enabling officers to take swift legal action.
It will also help detect vehicles wanted in criminal or traffic cases, supporting Dubai Police’s efforts to maintain safety and security on the roads.
Parkin CEO Mohamed Abdullah Al Ali said the collaboration highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and to supporting Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most sustainable cities.
“We’re proud to partner with Dubai Police on this important initiative,” Al Ali said. “Together, we aim to make parking and traffic management smarter, safer, and more efficient for everyone.”
The partnership marks a significant step in Dubai’s journey toward fully connected urban mobility, combining smart infrastructure, advanced enforcement, and digital governance to enhance public safety and service quality.
