Emirates announced on Friday that its First Class check-in counters at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 will be closed for enhancements until September 1, 2023, Emirates confirmed to Arabian Business.

“Due to ongoing renovations in Terminal 3 at Dubai Airports, Emirates Skywards Gold members travelling in Economy Class will be redirected to the Economy Class check-in counters in Area 6. This is a temporary change until September 1, 2023, and is due to the closure of First-Class check-in counters for refurbishment. All other Emirates Skywards members remain unaffected. The renovations will ensure customers continue to have a seamless and premium travel experience at Dubai Airports,” and Emirates spokesperson sald.

Until August 15, members checking in at the Emirates City Check-in and Travel Store can earn 5,000 Tier Miles for Emirates Skywards Blue and Silver members; 10,000 Tier Miles for Emirates Skywards Gold members; and 30,000 Tier Miles for Emirates Skywards Platinum members.

“Customers can also check in and drop off their luggage at the Emirates City Check‑in and Travel Store in ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) as early as 24 hours and up to 4 hours before a flight,” the spokesperson added.
