Many major carriers in the UAE have changed their services to Lebanon’s capital city due to rising political tensions.
flydubai has reduced daily flights from three to two until Friday, whereas Emirates has said that the airline will not accept passengers transiting through Dubai airport bound for Beirut on Thursday and Friday.
“flydubai has revised its flight schedule to Beirut Airport (BEY) and will operate two daily flights until 02 August. We continue to monitor the situation closely. Passengers are advised to check Flight Status on flydubai.com for the latest information regarding their flights,” a flydubai spokesperson told Arabian Business.
Other airlines have also suspended, delayed or cancelled flights to Beirut in recent days, with the US, Germany, Italy and India advising its citizens to leave Lebanon.
