Two UAE airlines have announced massive sales of up to 40 percent this week.
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways is offering 30 percent off selected flights booked by March 3, for travel between March 3 and December 12, 2015.
With the discount, an Etihad economy return ticket to London costs from AED2365 ($645), to Bangkok AED1845 or to New York AED3860.
Business tickets include Beijing for AED8935, San Francisco AED16,700 and Geneva AED10165.
Dubai-based flydubai’s 40 percent sale started on Wednesday.
It includes return economy airfares to Alexandria from AED805, Beirut AED665, Prague AED1763 and Vienna AED1463.
Business class return tickets include Doha for AED1140, Sofia AED6000 and Zagreb AED5860.
FlyDubai’s sale ends March 2 and includes travel only between April 1 and May 31, 2015.
Other terms and conditions apply to both sales.
This week, British Airways also announced its
special fares spring campaign, which runs from February 25, and allows for
travel until June 30, 2015.
The discounted air fares will be available across
Club World and World Traveller cabins and fares start from AED2285 from Dubai
to the UK and Europe and AED3585 to the USA and Canada. From Abu Dhabi, fares
start from AED2405 to the UK and Europe, and AED3545 to the US and Canada.
The British carrier currently flies to 179
destinations through its home base in London Heathrow.
