Al Khayala appoints Dnata as GSA

Dnata will represent Saudi Arabia’s corporate jet service in the GCC.

Saudi Arabia’s all-business class carrier, Al Khayala Airlines, has appointed Dubai-based Dnata Agencies as General Sales Agent (GSA) for the GCC region, outside of the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, Dnata will sell Al Khayala airlines’ five-a-week scheduled flights on the Dubai-Riyadh route, and the Dubai-Jeddah route, principally targeting corporate travellers and those seeking to travel between the two cities in quiet, reliable luxury.

“We are delighted to be appointed GSA for Al Khayala airlines in the GCC, and we look forward to working with them to develop this niche market of corporate travel customers. The Al Khayala product is unique, and we are confident that Dnata can contribute to its success in the region,” said Iain Andrew, senior vice president, Dnata Agencies.

Owned by KSA’s National Air Services, the largest corporate and private aviation service provider in the Middle East, Al Khayala caters to executive and VIP travel operating both scheduled and charter services with a fleet of specially-designed 44-seat Airbus A319s.

Benefits for travellers include arrival at the private VIP terminal just 30 minutes before departure for domestic flights (in KSA), lounge access at all destinations, in-flight and in-lounge care and assistance by crew and airline representatives

“Al Khayala caters to a very exclusive clientele and has been a success since launch. We have done our market research and we believe that there is strong and growing demand for our services on the Dubai-Riyadh and Dubai-Jeddah routes,” said Anas Mohammed Rayes, managing director, Al Khayala Airlines.
