Dubai added a new Indian city to its extensive network of direct flight destinations this week.
IndiGo launched three times a week flights from Dubai to Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, May 15.
It takes the number of Indian cities connected by direct flights to the emirate to 22.
Dubai to India flights
UAE-India bilateral non-oil trade reached $45.5bn in the first 11 months, according to government statistics.
The figure represents a 6.9 per cent increase from the previous 12-month period, despite the downturn in global trade in Q3 and Q4, 2022.
With Bhubaneswar now flying direct to Dubai it brings the list of destinations flying from Dubai to India to 22.

According to data compiled by aviation industry website Simple Flying, there are 16,717 non-stop flights scheduled between the emirate and India this summer, with more than 77 daily departures.
Emirates is the largest airline flying from the emirate into Indian cities.
